25 Apr Learn how to drive in 5 days!!!
One of my resolutions for 2011 is to know how to drive… before I turn 25. Due to the fact that I have no energy after work and I always have plans for the weekends, an intensive driving course might as well be the best solution. Same for Viet, he cannot find spare time to sleep after work, let alone learning how to drive. We (actually Viet) did research about various intensive driving courses in the UK… most of them offer 7-day courses, which we cannot find the them to fit our schedules. Luckily we found this company that does a 5-day intensive course, which is PERFECT!! So the training centre sits in Norwich, a peaceful city that is roughly 3 hour train from London. I don’t know whether I will be a professional driver after 5 days, but I will write on this blog about my experience 🙂
So we arrived a day earlier taken into account that it takes 3 hours to get to Norwich from London and we need to be at the training centre at 8:45 in the morning…
LSE jumper is a birthday present from my friends, love it very very mucho!!

We were an hour early for our train so… we went to McDonald for a bite :))
Not impressed with my way of killing the burger??
London was super hot the past week so I thought the weather would be just as NICE in Norwich!!! How wrong was I??? To the opposite end of my thought, it’s super duper cold!!!!
FIRST DAY:
So we arrived at the centre of 5DAY at St Francis House (141-147 Queens Road) in Norwich at 8:45. We started the day with an hour brief (9-10). Our practice sessions with the cars followed from 10 to 12, each of us has one instructor to ourselves for the whole week. My instructor was really patient with me today! I would say I was not that bad at all. I got to use the 4th gear after 1 hour and a half learning.
Then came 30 mins of lunch brek
After lunch was another 2 hour driving on the car. Then we had 2 hour class-room based theory learning. So that was pretty much IT for my first day! Feeling good!
Tshirt: Crafted (purchased from Republic)
We went to see FAST FIVE after dinner! It was AWESOME!!!
Now…. it’s 11pm… Better get some driving theory in my head before going to bed… Argh, I haven’t event finished my Vogue and InStyle yet!!!!!!
