20 Jul Mother & Daughter … and Paris (1): Versailles
I first visited Paris in the winter of 2009… it was a short trip and I couldn’t make it to the Versailles… So this time, I was very determined to visit this beautiful Palace…
I would advice you to get there early.. to prevent the super-long queue (My mother and I left the house at 10am and we had to face the consequence!!) First you need to get on the RER C (Yellow Line) that goes to Versailles-Rive Gauche. As long as you’re on the right train, you can relax as your arrival station is the last stop. For Versailles-Rive Gauche sits within Zone 4 so you have to buy separate tickets at the ticket machine, not the usual underground ticket. The Palace is within 5 minute walk from the last stop.
Again, this is also a very photo-heavy post…
1. THE PALACE
My mother waiting for the train
45-min train ride to Chateau Versailles
Erm…. we left the house at 10am…. hence, the long queue hahaha!
Inside the Palace
Feeling like a princess 😀
The worst pancake I have ever tasted really 🙁
The steak was not that good either!
The white lace dress..
We waited until 5h20 …. when the whole palace came alive with the FOUNTAIN SHOW…. I’m a BIG FOUNTAIN-LOVER!!!
3. SHORT WALK AROUND PARIS
By the Seine
Notre-Dame…
My mother was very excited to see all the Love locks…
My ma loves LV, she came back later to get another Beautiful Bag!!!
And the Eiffel Tower….
