Covent Garden hardly ever was a shopping destination for me, I always found it to be so “touristy”! But it was always my easy escape back in my uni day since Covent Garden is only a 5 minute walk away from the LSE. Oh those were the days of skipping lectures, sitting down in the middle of the market, listening to the street performers.
Since I started my “adulthood” (that means working hard 5 days a week hehe), I have hardly had the time to visit Covent Garden anymore but it still is the place that I hold dear in my heart 🙂
These days, you’d have to admit, Covent Garden has changed quite a bit! First an Apple store, then a Laduree tea room, now a Chanel pop up store!!!!! I know have to be back there, especially in Christmas time, when you know Covent Garden would turn MAGICAL!!!

I was so excited about the Chanel Pop Up store openning in July for the 2012 Olympic!!!! However, I was so busy then, preparing for whatever that I can’t recall now, to be able to pay a visit! I thought it would close after the Olympic!!! Apparently it was so BIG A SUCCESS that Chanel decided to keep it PERMANENTLY! Isn’t it AH-MAZING???

I had a manicure appointment today! You need to make a £25 payment which is redeemable against your purchase after the manicure!!! VISIT VISIT the Chanel POP UP STORE!!

Yes, it was CROWDED!!! SUPER CROWDED!!! But surprisingly, I didn’t feel irritated by that at all! I felt CHRISTMAS!!! People rushing to get presents for their loved ones, people leisurely sipping their cups of coffee while enjoying the street performances, and people holding hands, wandering around… admiring the decorations… ME LOVE!

Oh yea… a trip to Covent Garden would always end up in us visting the DISNEY Store haha! We used to be so disappointed that they never had Donald Duck. I had to get Viet Donald Duck from the Disney Store in New York but now… Donald Duck is so popular hehe. Viet is very happy indeed!
